I have used Adam with 28: Tenn Fitness for a year now and the results are outstanding. When I came to him toward the beginning of 2022, I had just moved to the area. I was stressed out, overweight and recovering from surgery. Adam took time to ask questions and learn about my life, my goals and my issues. From day 1, he has been an advisor, a source of encouragement and simply a friend. I have lost a ton of weight and regained a lot of my confidence. About 6 months into the program, I ran the Berlin Marathon. I just finished a year with him and I have another marathon scheduled in 3 weeks. To say that Adam has made a difference in my life would be a massive understatement. I am very lucky to have met him. If you are looking for a health or life coach, you have found your guy!
Before beginning to train with Adam I 'covertly' watched him for several months as he trained other people in the gym. I observed Adam offer superb knowledge, motivation, kindness, and consistency to clients of varying ages and body types through tailored workouts that were clearly drawing out confidence and learned know-how that was leading to positive change. Shortly thereafter I made the easy decision to request his services. In the year since, I've attained and maintained the lowest weight I've seen in 15 years, and the most muscle mass and strength I've ever achieved. I've also experienced great increases in endurance, flexibility, mobility, and an overall feeling of wellness. Put simply, I feel substantially younger.
I've worked with Adam, both in-person and remotely, for over 3 years, and he has proven himself an excellent trainer and coach. He is already so knowledgeable about fitness and nutrition, yet he is constantly studying and learning more. He listens to his clients, understands their specific goals, and then makes sure to customize his programs for them. I'm very pleased with the increase I've seen in my strength and fitness levels, but even more appreciative of the relationship we've developed. He listens closely and makes sure the counsel and recommendations he gives are tailored to whatever my needs are in that moment. He is dependable and fun to talk to. He loves his job and truly cares about his clients. I recommend him to anyone really interested in improving their fitness for the long-term.
Training with Adam has not only made me streamline my workout and waste less time at the gym, but he has also given me valuable knowledge about living a healthier lifestyle. The fact that he tailored a workout to my exact needs (rather than push a routine onto me as I feared of personal trainers) showed me that he had my best interests in mind--and I think this is the key to being a good personal trainer. I got much more than I had expected out of working with him and I was thrilled to see that he hasn't forgotten the 'personal' in 'personal trainer' as he adjusted encouragement and motivational tactics, goals, and nutritional information to my needs.
